i am very glad you made “die” - it really shines light on all the unnecessary violence and conflicts going on in this cruel world. i miss when Newgrounds would brake new grounds never seen before on mainstream internet, and this is a prime example of doing so. i fail to see how this animation is “edgy”, when this movie is clearly made with an artistic viewpoint, of painting a canvas of tragedies for the purpose of expressing a deeper message to the viewer. as mentioned before, i really applaud your works and not being afraid to share your thoughts!

HOLY FUCK man...even for Madness Combat standards, that opening was too fucking br00tal! but nonetheless, i love how realistic the violence was! i also love the switch between animation styles, like the top down of when the two grunts get blown up, or when it switches to a more realistic style during our protagonist's mental breakdown. the music goes greatly in each segment. i truly felt really connected to the protagonist throughout, despite the lack of any dialogue - the previous strengths mention really illustrated and fleshed out the perspective of how he was feeling in the moment. the environmental storytelling is seriously jacked in this! all in all, this was quite a mesmerizing watch, it serves as a wonderful adaptation of the MC IP, and it undeniably nails it as a great finale to the series!

oh, and since this Madness Day falls under a tuesday - this is easily getting my pick for the tuesday takeover. i hope way more people are able to appreciate this movie as much as i have!

obligated blam for (heavy) generative AI usage and over reliance.

none of those generative sketches match your art style from your previous movies, so i am skeptical in regards of it being "heavily edited", unless you would care to go more in detail?

and for my personal take, while the generative AI usage does technically fit the moral of this movie, "imperfectionalism" (for lack of a better word) is easy to replicate, as seen in cartoons like 'The Amazing World of Gumball' and 'Smiling Friends'. in other words, you could had easily drawn imperfect sketches and done sloppy after effects, to still get your message across, and perhaps make it feel more authentic.

neat lil liminal dream demo. only issue i had was the character model getting stuck in sharp corners. it would’ve been better to have illustrated hedges on the sides of each field, to indicate i couldn’t walk directly over to the next field.

this song has no consistent structure or rhythm to it, and it literally had an identity crisis throughout deciding what instrumental it wanted to use. i am unsure what message the vocalist was trying to mumble, and i have reached the conclusion of this being nothing more than a product.

very anticlimactic. you should’ve kept going with the act & kept the stuttering to a minimum, it would’ve almost been funny.

not a single thought lingers in between those lifeless retinas. void of emotion, yet filled with regret. i love the uncanniness displayed of this creature - its abnormally yet stunning physique is truly admirable.

i am a huge fan of your artworks, and i love all of the realistically-styled scenery you handcraft! that large flame engulfed by the large smoke cloud is mesmerizing, and so damn beautiful! my best guess was the playlist was too damn metal, for the aux to handle it. i love how each smear frame was perfectly accounted for, and the level of detail went into the surrounding environment is truly appreciated! along with you sharing a timelapse is a cherry on top for aspiring artists. overall, it’s nowhere close of a second thought to conclude that, “On fire” is the art piece that makes you shine brighter than any other pixel artist on Newgrounds by leagues, and it proudly displays your skills extensively compared to your prior artworks! i pray you perpetually blossom ever than before in your craftsmanship!

this is adorable in a way...okay maybe not with this particular scene going on. but i've never seen an art piece like this on Newgrounds before - i love the original idea of repurposing expired food as furniture, common droppings as food (how ironic), and mealworms as patrons. if mealworms are sentient, they must feel a sense of gratitude here.

i don't find this to be cursed, rather an inspiring allegory that i feel more people should rethink. what good are appearances, if its heart is rotten to the core; or what is bad about ugliness, if its heart is full of pureness? humans are quick to point out flaws in an individual, without giving them any further chances, or considering the weight of opposing viewpoints. if the act of cannibalism causes no harm to any mealworm, and every mealworm consents...why should it matter to us outsiders? the mealworms are the ones that are dying happy, while us humans are the ones living miserably - burdened from our complex mindsets and social morality.
